Hello, I am The Salcombe Chef,
Being a chef from Melbourne its a melting pot of cultures, a fact reflected in its restaurants, cafes, bistros and bars. You can feast on dizzying spreads of the world’s great cuisines. Melbourne is the greatest food city in the world. And only a tiny bit of that statement is due to hometown bias.

I started traveling in 2003 and i travel around Europe working as a freelance Chef in restaurants, hotels and resorts in Amsterdam, Bruges , Paris, Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria and Greece. Working as a chef and living in France, especially Paris, had always been a life long dream.
Working as a freelance chef I am hired by different clients to create a special dinning experience for them and their guests in their home kitchens and or outside locations based on their needs and preferences. As well as working in restaurants, Gastro pubs and hotels, pop-up and commercial kitchens. I create Menu’s with local produce using regional suppliers who are not only enthusiastic and professional, but really care about their product. I would be sourcing and selecting only the freshest natural ingredients which enables me to develop constantly evolving seasonal menus …
Outside work I take a keen interest in sport, invaluable for developing and exercising my leadership and teamwork skills, as well as my sociable personality. Whilst working long hours as a chef I have managed to maintain my interests in motorcycle riding, snowboarding, mountain biking, Aussie rules football, photography and socializing with friends and family (including cooking with them which is a passion, not a chore) when the time permits it.
