What is the first thing you will do once you are no longer in self isolation?
The first thing I will do is drive to my favourite beach for a lovely swim in the sea.
What is the thing you are most looking forward to on your return to working in the Crab Shed once we have re-opened?
I can’t wait to turn on the grill again and fill my days with what I am most passionate about ...cooking fresh fish & seafood for everyone to enjoy.
What is your favourite fish to cook at home and what do you serve it with?
My favourite is sea bass, I simply pan fry the fillets to get a crispy skin, then add a little sea salt, butter and lemon juice. I serve it with fresh asparagus, buttered new potatoes and a lemon wedge, it is super easy and filled with flavours.
What activities are you doing to keep occupied during this lockdown period?
If I am not cooking or baking, I make use of my lovely garden. I also make sure to use the daily 1 hour exercise allowance to explore local walks to keep me fit and sane.
Can you suggest a few tips for a BBQ during this warm, sunny spring weather?
No matter what meats or fish are on offer I always make room on the BBQ for a few sliced onions, mushrooms and chopped potatoes. I cook these all spread out on some foil with lots of whole garlic gloves, fresh herbs and some butter - delicious!
